You can definably smell the Cascade hops. The hops do a wonderful job of covering up the alcohol smell. When poured, the appearance is a little foggy Amber-Red that has a nice small off-white head. There is a good consistency to the cloudiness. The flavor I love. It's got a strong hop flavor that taste just like an IPA is suppose to taste.

The palate on the other hand is very strong. Has an extreme hop after taste that is little bitter. The hops do a more then expected job to cover up all the alcohol.

Overall this is a wonderful beer. I don't think I could drink this all night but it is definable a beer that would start off with. If you like IPA's you will love this! I will be buying a case of this very soon. :)
