This unfiltered wheat beer, customarily served with a slice of lemon, is made from malted and unmalted wheat providing a certain haziness to its golden color.  It is named after the many water gaps found along the Appalachian Trail, especially of that made by the Susquehanna River just north of Harrisburg.
